We’ve just started out workshop programme for this academic year at UAL.
Our first workshop was held at the CCW Collaborative Makerspace, encouraging students to engage with digital making and the Internet of Things.
We learnt about the creative applications of Internet technology by constructing robots that could be controlled remotely.
We were using motors and microcontrollers, and the Aether platform, to make a remote control space buggies fit for intergalactic travel.
We’ll be running weekly workshops at the CCW Collaborative Makerspace during October and November as part of the Teaching and Learning fund.
