This workshop provided a short introduction to using a Raspberry PIs as an IOT device. We used Raspberry Pis to trigger printer messages in response to remote Ultrasonic Sensors.

- the wiring pi GPIO library
- ultrasonic proximity sensors
- programatically controlling the output of a thermal printer
